• System architects designing infrastructures incorporating Cloud Computing,

Ling Jia Woei is the IBM ASEAN Sales Executive for LotusLive, IBM’s leading online collaboration solutions and social networking services for businesses, where he is responsible for driving the sales and distribution strategy for LotusLive across ASEAN. Jia Woei is a strong believer in leveraging the benefits of Cloud Computing, and one of his missions is to help customers achieve superior business outcomes through innovative online collaboration solutions. Jia Woei has more than 13 years of sales and consulting experience in Enterprise Software Applications and has handled clients across Asia Pacific and North America, spanning various industries. Prior to joining IBM, Jia Woei spent 4 1/2 years in Salesforce.com Singapore, as one of its pioneering members. Responsible for leading Sales, he was credited with building a successful Inside-Sales organisation in Asia Pacific, spanning 3 continents for Salesforce.com. Before Salesforce.com, Jia Woei held numerous sales, technical and consulting positions in IT corporations such as SAS, Siebel Systems and PTC (formerly called Parametric Technology Corporation).

Jia Woei holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) degree from the National University of Singapore.  He is stationed in Singapore where he lives with his family, enjoying the opportunity to travel within the region for leisure.

Biodata
Kathleen is a senior technical sales specialist with IBM Rational Software Group.  She holds a Master Degree in Software Engineering and First Class Honors with Computer and Information Sciences.  She joined Rational in 2000 before IBM acquired Rational in 2003 and had since taken on multiple roles such as technical sales, services and training engagement with Rational strategic accounts. 

Kathleen specializes in providing Software Delivery Best Practices solutions to customers especially in the area of Collaborative Application Lifecycle Management, Web Application Compliance, Requirement Management and Architecture Management.

Prior to rejoining IBM, Kathleen was an independent consultant specializing in providing Requirement Driven Quality Management and Project Management services to enterprise customers.

"Experience BPM in The Cloud - IBM BPM BlueWorks"
Speaker: Lee Fung Fung (Websphere Technical Specialist, IBM Singapore)

Abstract
Most businesses today realize the promise of value that business process management brings. Everybody wants to have an agile organization that is able to adapt and respond quickly to changing business needs and customer demands, however answering the question of how to get started with BPM is often difficult for organizations.

This workshop introduces the participants to IBM BPM BlueWorks, a Cloud-based process and strategy mapping tool that provides business users an easy on-ramp to business process management (BPM).

IBM BPM BlueWorks is the place for leaders and analysts to discover and explore business-relevant content to help them understand, experience, and accelerate business process management (BPM). The goal is to:

1. Educate you on BPM strategies, trends, capabilities, and best practices

2. Empower through collaborative business design tools and accelerators

3. Enable collaboration among the community to help you learn from others.

The participants will also be given an introduction to the WebSphere BPM Portfolio.

Saravanan is a senior technical sales specialist with IBM and drives technical sales initiatives for the Rational portfolio of products in Singapore. He holds a Master Degree in Business Administration and Honors Diploma in Software Engineering and has more than 12 years of extensive experience in the technology industry particularly in software testing and lifecycle management. Sachin specializes in application security and quality management His responsibilities include working with clients across regions to identify issues and concerns and suggest software development best practices. Prior to joining IBM, Sachin was technology evangelist for Borland Software Corporation in Singapore where he was working with professional programmers, user groups, technical press, and corporate customers from leading software firms, government organizations and leading edge solution companies. He also conducts developer workshops and speaks at technical conferences across the region.
